I went to Bucarest this winter and I found it amazing.
Often people think about Budapest but never Bucarest in Romania ! That’s a mistake.
This city is really nice, very pretty and there is a lot to learn about History.
And if like us you come when it snow, you will be frozen (we need to be honest) but you will see beautiful landscape !
A visit to Romanian Athenaeum is a very good idea :
And the National History Museum is just amazing :

Thanks for sharing these wonderful photos of Bucarest. I’ve never been there, but I’ve hear a lot of wonderful things, and I know it has an old town as well, which I’m curious of. Do you live there or did you only go for the weekend? I think I’d rather go during summer, I don’t like the snow very much.
What are the prices there? Is it cheap to visit these museums?

It was for a week-end using Ryanair and Airbnb (I’m from the south of France).
The old town is beautiful and it’s nice to visit it during day and during night (beautiful places with beautiful night lights).

Life is quite cheap compared to France and visiting museum was cheap too (around 3$ for the Romanian Athenaeum and the National History Museum) !
