A Google Hangouts link will be sent to you before the April 25th, 1:00 PM PDT (San Francisco Time) meetup. 5. If you signed up, but know you cannot attend, PLEASE CONTACT ME IMMEDIATELY.
This meetup will likely have a Wait List. If a spot opens, I will contact the next person available person on the List.
Hey @KarenVChin It will be awesome to have such great companions to drink a glass of wine (or maybe more, once I’ll be not able to share my bottle, Lol). See you Saturday!
This will be my first meet up that actually panned out, so don’t leave me hanging, Karen!!! I ran here to RSVP quick as I could! Just bought some organic wine, with donations made to the Giving Kitchen! I’m so excited to share!
If I get a chance I would love to present Ice Wine, a Canadian dessert speciality. Ice wine is made out of leftover grapes on the vine and exposed to falling snow. As they go into wine making process they are dehydrated and have less water content that requires 4 to 5 times grapes compared to regular wine. This not only makes it sweeter but also expensive and are considered best as dessert wine. Wine tours are a weekend activity for Torontonians, tucked between Niagara on the Lake to the west and or Prince Edward County in the east.
Technology Global trading has now changed the winemaking a different industry than it was before. Old cellars are now disappearing and have been replaced by stainless steel
Thanks everyone for RSVPing. I have 21 Local Guides signed up for this virtual meetup as of April 23rd, 1:30 PM PDT.
Unfortunately, I can only invite the first 9 Local Guides who RSVPed who meet my Meetup Logistics criteria:
MUST bring a glass of wine (and the wine bottle if possible) and be prepared to talk about it during Saturday’s April 25th, 1 PM PDT virtual meetup.
Please send me a “wine selfie” of you with your wine glass and your Gmail address via private message. Your photo will be used as part of the meetup attendee photo collage. I need your Gmail to add you to the Google Hangout link. Be sure to have the Google Hangout app installed prior to the meetup. I will do a test prior to be sure you are on the Hangout.
At the meetup, you must be in a quiet room and be wearing a headset.
If you cannot make this meetup, please let me know ASAP. I have 12 Local Guides on the Wait List. If I don’t receive your “wine selfie” and Gmail address by April 24, 2020 1:30 PDT, I will go to the Wait List and contact the next person on the RSVP list.
Due to popular demand, I will schedule for a future date another VIRTUAL: Wine Lovers Social meetup if you are on the Wait List.
@AlexandreCampbell , cannot wait to see what you will bring to my Wine Lovers Social. I am always looking to expand my wine knowledge. Hope you bring something from Brazil. I have never had Brazilian wine – please forgive me!
Look forward to receiving your wine selfie and your Gmail address PM.
@AlejandraMaria , happy you like my virtual meetup idea. I am trying to think of new ways to have interesting, educational, and “get to know you” Local Guides meetups virtually while we are all in our homes for the time being.
I would love to have you attend this first-ever Wine Lovers Social virtual meetup, but I have a limitation of up to 10 participants on my free Google Hangouts app version. You are on the Wait List. Thank you for sending me your wine selfie/Gmail address.
I will definitely have a future Wine Lovers Social virtual meetup or two and you are 1st on my list to contact! You have amazing energy and I know you have a lot to wine knowledge to share.
@katherodriguez09 – thanks for RSVPing and sending me your wine selfie. I need you to PM your Gmail address now. I cannot wait to meet you and share your wine knowledge.
Unfortunately, you will have to hold on your organic wine a little longer! You are on the Wait List. I will contact you if there is movement on the Wait List.
Don’t worry, there will be a future “Show & Tell” Wine Lovers Social due to popular demand.
Very happy to know you want to participate in Wine Lovers Social, and, yes, I have heard of ice wine.
Yes, being number 18 on the Wait List is not looking good at the moment.
I do want to tell you that due to popular demand I will have a future Wine Lovers Social virtual meetup. I look forward to you joining that one and talking about ice wine. I know @FaridTDF@ErmesT will be very curious.
Hi @KarenVChin , Don’t worry, actually here in Brazil we do not drink Brazilian wines a lot (what a shame), Chilean and Argentinian wines are more famous here, but Brazil has some excellent wines indeed, and I’ll be bringing one of them to our meeting.
See you Saturday!
P.S.: I already sent you both my Gmail and wine selfie!
Me encantan las consignas que tines @KarenVChin , simples y precisas, nada de cosas muy rebuscadas jajaja para mi que tú, en tu otra vida trabajaste en el ejercito jejejej
