If You are a lover of historical place and like travelling then your travel diary will incomplete if you haven’t visited one of the most important fort of Rajasthan India Amer or Amber fort.
Amer Fort is known for its artistic style elements. With its large ramparts and series of gates and cobbled paths,and combine structure of hindu-muslim religion the fort overlooks Maota Lake which is the main source of water for the Amer Palace.

History:-
Original structure waa built by mairs in 1500s.
Later it made by Meenas-Ruler before king man singh called Kadimi mahal
But current structure was built by King Man Singh 1.
Yes you guess correct,he was one of the Navratna of Akbar.
Its work extended by king Jai singh.
Basic Structure of this fort is diffrent gates and different courtyards.
Why must visit Amer fort:-
If you are like travelling and if you are greedy about wanting know more then this place for you,
Wouldn’t you have been as greedy, given the wealth of history and heritage this place offers.
When you here then you will feel like every corner, windows,wall,and every stone have a story and they want tell it to you.
Here Important things in Amer Fort
1.Sheesh Mahal (Glass Mahal)
As name suggesting,it built by glass ,but it not only for what it known.
Wonderful is that-If one candle that was lit in the night anywhere in it, reflected throughout the place making ceiling look like the night sky with twinkling stars.
Is it not amazing?
one thing more glass work is no random pattern but it workd into beautiful designs.
2.Ganesh Pol (Ganesh Gate).

Ganesh pol was the main gate of palace though it is not the first gate.
In indian culture,Load ganesh known as Remove obstacles from everyone’s life.also as symbol of new beginning,Now you can work out why it named Ganesh Pol.
It said that all Royal person welcomed here and also who they returned victorious from a battle.

This called “Suhag Mandir”.
This was where the royal ladies could witness the happening below as they weren’t allow in public.
This gate looks stunning,it said that it looks more stunning in raining.
It made a stunning background that you can not stop yourself to take pictures.

Just opposite the gate,there is a place calles “**Diwan-e-aam”.**it was for public audience.

Here you can see main Entrance called “The Suraj Pol” (Sun Gate).
Because it face toward to east
Army parade took place in the courtyard.
There is a temple of “Sila Devi”. Earlier it attached to the Practice of Animal Sacrifice during Navratri festival.later it was stopped.
3.Jai Mandir.
This a beautiful buidling with glass and mirror work,It has three part.
First part you see is the hall of private Audience “Diwan-e-Khaas”.
This is where highly secretive meeting with important people.took place.
Also one thing make this place more special,
There are flower Motifs,see in photo,they are called Magic Flowers the flower is carved such that you can spot different picture by covering various parts lf the flower from a scorpion to a lotus to a snake.
The interior of Diwan-e-khaas are full of mirror and glass work.
4.Aaram Bagh or Chahar Bagh (Garden).

In front of Diwan-e-khaas that is a garden were laid out in Mughal style,No wonder why in Mughal Style.
Most interesting feature of this garden is that ,that water that went into the garden was also used to cool the surrounding.
It used to pass through small pipes in “Sukh Niwas” and “Jai Mandir”.
some part still can be seen in sukh Niwas .
Is it not Interesting?
Is is not master piece of from that time.
5.Sukh Niwas (Rest Room).
As name suggested , this was resting quarters of the king ,it kept cool by water pass through small pipes.
In Sukh Niwas there is many rooms for queens.
Caption:-Bardari Madir at amer fortThere is a place called "Bardari Madir" was used by the Royal Ladies and the king to just sit around.
You can see some rooms around Bardari Madir, Biggest room was for king others for queens
Each room was connected through a passage with the king’s room,the passage was a private passage that only the king would use ,means no queen would know that to who queen king went.
6.Subterranean Passes

There is a secret way to escape from fort in any emergency situation.or attack time.

Some tips:-
There is a lot to walk and that is not on flat ground so wear comfortable cloths and flat Shoes.
There are planty of guide and Audio tour available.
A lot to know in this fort so better you hire a guide.
When to visit:-
As it located in Jaipur Rajasthan and temperature high in summer and very cold in winter.
So avoid it.
Best time to visit here is September-October and feb-march.
Keep enough time remaining while visit it as it took around 4-5 hours.
