Whenever I’m going out of the city, I especially take a little more information about the place in Google Map so that I can easily reach there. In the meantime, if I see an error in the map, I note it and then try to fix it for better guiding my community. During last six months I’ve noted more than 100 Village name translations in my regional (Gujarati) language. I’ve already sent feedback to google maps and also I’ve corrected more than 100 village name in last year.
For your kind information here I’m sharing with you Google spreadsheet.
My request to Map team please correct this village name translations in proper Gujarati language.
I would like to inform you that there are certain items in Google Maps that you cannot edit and these include landmarks, established points-of-interests or even the names of a city/township. Only Google can edit these although you can always send feedback and suggest your changes through Google maps. To send feedback you can follow these steps below:
I’m totally aware about it and i know about send feedback option. Last year I’ve successfully changed more than 100 villages name translations. You can find it in my last post.
Thank you for sharing that list with us. I’ve forwarded this issue to our responsible team and will get back to you and @NareshDarji when I have an update.
Please note that it may take some time, so I ask for your patience. Thank you.
Unfortunately, Gurajati language is not supported at this time. We encourage you to submit feedback directly in the Google Maps app when you see an error in the translation of the names.
