How to upload videos?
So I’m at level 7 just about to cross to level 8 hopefully. My video views are extremely low and when I go into the app I don’t seem to be able to upload video. I’ve noticed this for months but never thought about asking the community. Is video still being accepted? Am I missing a way to upload either on mobile (iPhone) or computer (mac)?

Sad to know that video upload is not possible through the Maps app on the iPhone.
However, you may be having Google Chrome browser on your phone.
Open the web version of app through the browser and request a desktop site.
There, you will find the option to upload photos. Through that, you can upload video files also.
However, please ensure that the videos are in mp4 format. If not, you can always do the conversion.
I don’t infer whether there is any dedicated app for Maps on Mac. Thus, you would be opening Maps through the browser only. However, to avert any compatibility issues, please do so through Google Chrome browser. Rest will be the same as that on the iPhone.
Assume, though these alternative routes, you will be uploading the videos on the iOS also.

@TimLowe I have been adding videos to maps from iPhone without any issues for really long time.
Here are steps I use.
Open Google Maps App
Search a place (POI) where you want to add videos to
Select the place, scroll down, till you see 'Add Photos & Videos"
This will show list of photos and videos you have on your phone. In fact based geo location on the photo or video, they show up on the top of list.
Select Video. This will add the video to that POI. I am attaching some screen shots here.
If you want to do the same thing from Mac or PC, this is one of the ways to do it. Install ‘Google Photos’ on your iPhone/Android Phone, Sync your pictures. Open the maps app in browser, search a POI, select add Photos/Videos, You can either upload from your PC/Mac or select from ‘Photos from phone’, you will be able to select the video from your synced photos/videos and add it to POI.

Adding videos in Google Maps is indeed possible with every device, including iPhone, and also using a computer.
On mobile you can take directly a video starting from “add a photo” on a POI using the camera, or uploading a video stored on your device, but also uploading a video stored on Google photos.

Clipurile video se pot incarca aproximativ la fel cum se incarca si pozele.
Trebuie tinut cont ca formatul sa fie : mp4 sau MPEG-4 .
Unele “device”-uri salveaza capturi cu extensia :“3gp”
Acestea nu sunt acceptate , trebuiesc convertite la “mp4” sau cu extensia “m4v”.
Dimensiune maxima a fisierului ce trebuie incarcat ( din experienta) nu trebuie sa depaseasca ~100Mb.
Asta inseamna aprox. 2 (doua) minute de filmare.
Peste acesta dimensiune se blocheaza si nu primesti nici o atentionare, plus ca pentru conversie trebuie un calculator cu ceva resurse ( in special memorie ) suficienta…
Incearca mai inatai cu durate ceva mai mici.
Si la contributori de nivel 10 am observat clip-uri de 30 ( treizeci ) de secunde… sau chiar mai mici.
Sper sa(ti) ajute cu ceva…

I would like to upload videos with my reviews but have never found a way to do it on my iPhone 11 Pro when in the Google Maps app.
I’ve read many help topics, including this thread. However, the only button option ever presented to me is “Add a Photo”, never the “Add Photos or Videos” button as shown in the accepted solution in this thread.
I have included screenshots from my iPhone so you can see what I see.
What am I doing wrong?
Hi @Paul_LaVigne , you cannot attach videos directly to your review, but you should be able to add them directly from the business listings,
