I spent a weekend in Victoria, BC Canada, what a beautiful place to photograph especially at night, here are some samples, enjoy.
Hi @gregozphotos ,
Absolutely stunning! The city looks very lively and actually reminds me of a few European cities. Did you use a special camera for these? The parliament building looks incredible. Is it always lit like that?
Thanks!
hi @DanniS
Victoria has been established by the British, Cpt Cook’s statue is still present in the Inner Harbour. So, with the European settlers, yes, many parts of the city resemble European architecture. The lights on the Parliament Building get turn on in the evening, it’s a photographer’s feast. I enjoy taking pictures of the yachts, boats, water, reflections, skies, sunsets, etc. etc. I use a standard DSLR Nikon and set the exposure to around 15-20 seconds, so you’d need a tripod for sure. cheers,
These are just amazing photos. I’m kicking myself for never getting there. Only seen it a few times from afar from Pt. Angeles, WA. Kudos!
