Ushuaia is a tourist town in Argentina that is located in the Tierra del Fuego archipelago, in the extreme south of South America, known as the “end of the world”. Located on a steep hill and subject to very strong winds, the city is surrounded by the Martial mountain range and the Beagle Strait. It serves as a base for cruises and tours in Antarctica that pass through the island Yécapasela, known as the “Penguin Island” because of its penguin colonies. Very beautiful place, frequented by tourists, scholars, researchers and scientists from all over the world. Worth knowing.
