Useful tip to get better views on your photos while adding them on maps.

  1. One you click the photo- go to the gallery-go to details

  1. Click on edit

.

3.Change title to the subject of your photo.

Like 12343_3435.jpg to “coffee at Starbucks-location.jpg”

.

  1. Also if your phone allows to go tag a location where you clicked the photo that makes it very easy for the photo to appear in that location search topic.

Always take out few seconds to properly edit these quick details before posting any photo.

BTW, as your photos are found through Google Maps engine, I would like to add some personal tip:

Use only great photos: Your post is perfect for telling us how to do it: 5 tips to take better food photos during your cafes and restaurant . Quality of the photos is one of the parameters used by the AI to position your photo on the top 10

Tag your food photo, when you add it on Google Maps. Google Maps give you the option to add the name of a dish (+3 points). In this way your photo may become also searchable through the dish name

Keep your photo visible: This is from a Local Guide point of view: Duplicate (or near duplicate photos) are strictly forbidden, and the result can be that a photo will be flagged as “private” (visible only to you). So, if a photo is flagged as private, nobody will see the photo

I know that this can be not intentional, but my suggestion is to verify all the time before to upload a photo, if the photo has been already uploaded. E.g. Bestech Business Tower and BESTECH MALL , Even if one place is inside the other, you should upload the same photo only once. Group photos are normally to avoid too.
