Use of the Alias as Display Name for reviews

Hello,

I would like to know if anything has improved on the display name, visible at the reviews since the last topics in 2018?
I really don’t want to display my full first and last name in the reviews, because of privacy.

But I also don’t want to remove my last name in the profile, since it also shows up in Gmail.

Is there any way to use the alias name(you can Enter in google account) as the display name for the Google Maps reviews?

Hi @Jens91

No, To change the visible name beside reviews you should change your overall name in Google Account.

But you can simply change your name as an email sender in Gmail by going to Settings > Accounts and Import > Send mail as.

So you can easily handle it to reach your goal!

But one thing changed since 2018. You can also hide your contributions from being visible to all by updating the profile visibility settings if you have privacy concerns. This only shows reviews/photos in a single place and only followers you approve, can see all your photo/review contributions.
