My Google Maps / Local Guides account is severely broken due to a persistent backend technical glitch, and standard support channels have been unable to resolve it. My Case ID is [0-3058000036665].
The issue has been diagnosed by Product Experts as a Critical Backend Sync Loop Error. Here is the proof of the system inconsistency:
My account was officially cleared by support on June 9, 2026, confirming that all restrictions were lifted.
Immediately after being activated, Google’s automated enforcement bots overrode the manual approval and restricted my profile again within hours. This identical loop has happened multiple times.
I still continuously receive the ‘Local Guides Weekly Summary’ emails showing active contribution data and points, which proves the backend data is active while the user interface remains locked.
I am a Street View Trusted Photographer since 2016 with over 12.3 Million views. 10 years of dedicated, high-authority contributions are trapped in an endless software loop.
Standard support cannot fix this database error. I urgently request this case to be escalated to a Senior Backend Engineer for a manual metadata refresh and a permanent override of the automated flags on my profile.
The check for penalties on your account does not always pertain to getting your hidden contributions cleared.
I strongly recommend that you clean your account for multiple duplicate images. And delete all photos of children shown with recognizable faces under your account.
You have added a total of 721 pics/videos and currently only 701 of them are public. And your latest public media contribution is from 2 months ago.
After clearing your account for guideline violating photos I suggest your try this form:
The form you used is the wrong form to request a manual check of your hidden contributions.
If the problem then persists we have to look for other guideline violations you might have made.
The notion that your account was cleared is not correct. The steps recommend above are what you can do to have a reasonable chance to get your photo posting privileges restored.
Another potential issue could be if you are running a 360 business from this account. Then acting as a Local Guide could be an issue.
