My journey As a food enthusiast has taken me to different restaurants in Lagos in search for good food .food business is serious business,so as a local guide I find passion in discovering and reviewing restaurants and post pictures of my Odyssey.
Upscale restaurants are built and designed for the affluence, however I will tell you about this beautiful upscale restaurant that beats that logic.
As I searched for restaurants serving good food i stumbled on this beautiful, serene resturant. My assumption was way beyond my expectations, for cheapskates this is a turnoff because it depict class and affluence, however the reverse is the case. Good food shouldn’t be Expensive but the location of restaurants make food expensive
Tribe restaurant is an upscale restaurant in lekki an annex of Victoria island lagos serving native food at cheap prices. One will be in doubt at a glance at their menu.
From the entrance a red vintage 1988 Volkswagen beattle car can be seen strategically parked and opposite are brown matted seats and a lush green artificial grass. This scenery is above all captivating at night.
My breakfast was Indeed worth it as I ordered my meal .i had boiled white yams with fried scrambled eggs with vegetables toppings.
Lest I forget in Lagos island an expensive meal is considered to be above 4000naira/15$. This sounds crazy for locals as world’s facts ranked Nigeria’s population as poor and living below 2$ a day.
Furthermore the island attracts lots of potential business and tourist minded people. So finding a good restaurant shouldn’t be a problem.
Finally my bill was 2$ and I was satisfied as I enjoyed my meal. It was a very sumptuous breakfast.
