The known issue that we are experiencing shouldn’t refrain you from writing new reviews. Once we fix this, all of the reviews that were made private and aren’t violating our policies will be live again.
After noticing this issue, the place where I wrote the new review was completely hidden. Not only the text of the review but also the stars and photos are hidden, and it continues to be expelled.
However, posts with only stars and photos without writing a review are displayed.
I pay close attention to the shape of the text, so I rewrite it many times and update it repeatedly in a short time. This is because the nuances of Japanese word are very complicated. This is my style, not a bunch of malicious updates. This is because the difficulty of Japanese is that we cannot respect others even if we make a slight mistake in the composition of the text.

Hi @Bobiisha ! I hope all’s good with you? I posted another five reviews over the weekend on a trip to Edinburgh. Three are public but two remain hidden, although all five appear to be compliant with the rules. Perhaps you could look at my account again? I have more to post over the next couple of days as I’m conscious of not posting too many at the same time and triggering the spam filter. Thanks again for helping whilst the team are trying to resolve this problem!

Hi Bobiisha, I posted the photo below last week and it has failed to show on my photos or on latest photos for taberna Miguel. Neither have I been asked for the dish name.
I have checked on my android and Windows laptop and it is the first time this has happened.

Řekněte programátorům google, že některá antispamová pravidla jsou špatně. já hodně cestuji a když jsem v novém městě, kde je hodně věcí na vidění, tak přidám třeba 20 nových míst a tedy i recenzí, není přece moje vina že google o těchto místech neví, nechci být trestán za to, že najdu nová pro googole mapy neznámá místa.
hodně lidí pro neúplnost google map raději používá místní maps

Danken möchte ich auch dem Team, das jetzt sehr viel Arbeit hat und einen guten Job macht.
Ich verstehe, dass im Moment neue Rezensionen nicht veröffentlicht werden, weil die Probleme noch nicht beseitigt sind.
Aber ich frage mich, wie es möglich ist, dass “alte” Rezensionen - auch die, die positive Bewertungen bekommen haben, also besonders hilfreich waren, nicht mehr öffentlich sind.
Ärgerlich ist auch, dass man Orte hinzufügen kann, diese genehmigt werden, dass man dann eine Rezension dazu schreibt, dann einige Kilometer fährt, Fotos macht und dann leider feststellen muss, dass nur die Fotos öffentlich sind, nicht die Beschreibung / Rezension des Ortes.
Dabei gehört doch alles zusammen, wenn man andere Besucher von Google Maps umfassend informieren will.
Vielleicht gelingt es euch ja, die Probleme zu beseitigen.

We have written over 1000 enthusiastic reviews based on our research. Each of these is an important speech and a lovable child for us.
It is completely impossible for us to log off our account and investigate 1000 children. The strong anxiety that there may be reviews that disappeared somewhere would be a pandemic for Local Guides. In fact, I’ve confirmed that some reviews have been repaired and some haven’t. The criteria for the difference between the two is unknown.
I keep in mind the imagination of such feelings of other guides. Of course, all Googlers have the same idea.

Hier in Deutschland gibt es ein Sprichwort: “Die Hoffnung stirbt zuletzt”.
Wir alle, die wir betroffen sind, haben jedoch gute Gründe zu hoffen:
Google wird ein großes Interesse daran haben, dass Local Guides “ihr” Google Maps so aktuell wie möglich halten. Viele - auch ich - verwenden ja inzwischen zur Navigation lieber Google Maps als ein Navigationsgerät. Maps wird - auch durch uns - öfter aktualisiert.

Das ist nachvollziehbar und es gibt keinen Grund daran zu zweifeln.
Es muss / wird ein “Fairplay” von beiden Seiten sein: Wir investieren unsere Zeit um zu recherchieren, Rezensionen zu schreiben, Fotos zu machen, Korrekturen durchzuführen etc. und Google sorgt dafür, dass die betroffenen Accounts wieder voll funktionsfähig sind.
Verschiedene Accounts z.B. der von @Kerbray sind bereits repariert. Wir sollten also - auch wenn die Reparaturen lange dauern - nicht die Hoffnung aufgeben und abwarten.

I too am having this issue with reviews not being posting. I am on a Android 10 phone which is my only device.

Thanks for checking! One of the two hidden reviews is now published. The other remains unpublished because I think it may have violated the rules - not deliberately, of course, but I understand if automatic filters don’t understand the context of certain words. I’ve now edited it but does it need rechecking again? Also do you know the timescales for hidden photographs to be reattributed to their original reviews?

Are people going to be affected even after things are fixed? I felt like everything was fixed and now when I update a review it no longer shows at all even if it’s a positive review and I’m simply updating my experience.
