Thanks @AngieYC for going through my message & responding. It took 5 months for my hidden reviews to become public again, after sending multiple requests to the moderators. I thought that this problem was resolved. But, I was wrong. Yet again, my reviews are getting hidden from public view. And yes, these reviews of mine are written in a positive tone, simple English and well-structured manner, so there is no scope of any spamming/policy violation. The Google AI is still unable to differentiate between honest & fake reviews, which is really unpropitious & unfortunate. Hope you can help in this matter (before 5 months).

I am in the same boat as you. I feel like we are at a loose end. Any new reviews are going to be hidden again even after a check of the account and old ones being made public again. It’s a constant cycle and something we are going to have do every few weeks.
There are two issues here and they seem to be unaware of the latter despite both of us raising it and I am sure others too. So close to giving up. Been quite tempted with Trip Advisor lately. They also allow you to review a restaurant, etc multiple times allowing you to review each visit and not just once.

I am a local guide contributor with level 8, last 8 month I contribute very actively, contribute lots of photos, reviews, Edits
But few days before I noticed my 105 reviews are unpublished, but I think my reviews are perfect with guideline
Some days before I posting a post about this, @MortenCopenhagen suggest me correction some issue, I already contacted
Now I request to manually checking my ID why my reviews are unpublished…

I see @InaS already responded to you here, so I can just quote what she said: “Please keep in mind that the investigation may take some time. If your reviews comply with the Maps policies**, they will be reinstated”

Would be glad if you can take a look at my issue… I too had filled the form weeks ago and got the all clear on my account, yet all new reviews are private.

Ps. Just have to say: Really don’t know what has happen to Google Maps and/or overall Google team that needs to punish more seniors local guides with more contributions like this…
Simply let me follow up with what I’ve commented: If Google just uses some (stupid) mechanism to flag some profile which in turn has caused a lot of trouble/frustration to more senior local guides, then this simply shows there isn’t anything more superior/advanced in the game of AI/learning at Google. Just yet another one full of disappointment.

The local guide and his review that has plagiarized blatantly others (including my review) are still intact as of current moment. While my own new review that is authentic (as always) is now hidden. Yet another disappointment

Folks, it’s been 5 weeks since I requested for a check and 8 days since @AngieYC submitted me again for a check. None of my previous blocked reviews are released for public viewing. Not only that, some of my new reviews are getting blocked; the ones where I put in more effort to tell people about a place, where to park, what to do and not when getting here and with nice photos. The ones that get through are with simple sentences that are not that helpful. (See below: detailed review of museum on left is blocked. Simple and almost zero information on restaurant is allowed).
I can’t understand why Google Maps blocks the more detailed reviews that help people decide if they want to visit or patronize a place? I have a total of 60 blocked reviews now. When I discover a review is blocked on Google Maps, I write a review on Tripadvisor (yes, I resurrected my username there!) and Facebook. They don’t block my review. Maybe I will stop bothering with Google Maps and just review elsewhere as my default. How terrible to be a Local Guide: no support, no answers, no unblocking assistance!
