Unknown hidden beaches of Konkan coastline

Maharashtra has got a long coastline having many untouched beaches. Here I list down the 5 hidden gems of coastal Konkan belt. The ride to these gems might be bumpy at times but on reaching the spot you will forget all your pain & enjoy the serene beauty of blue water. Enjoy your time with yourself & let the sound of the waves seep inside you. Don’t forget to enjoy local Konkani cuisine.

1. Aare Ware Beach:

The beach beauty is evident even before reching it when you see the beach from top of winding beach road. This view point is a perfect selfie point. The entry to the beach is through tall trees. There is large span of sand till you touch water. There is hardly anybody on the beach. So enjoy your isolation.

2) Srivardhan Beach:

Situated along the Mumbai-Goa highway at the other side of the mountain, this beach is best to enjoy some family time.

  1. Harihareshwar Beach

Harihareshwar beach houses Hindu temple of God Shiv. The beach gives the spiritual freedom of mind & soul.

Enjoy the your time with God.

4) Karde Beach, Dapoli

People are more accustomed to visit the famous Murud beach (near Dapoli). Just drive down south few miles & you will find this hidden gem. The winding road along the beach adds to its beauty. This beach is big. Water is clear blue . If you are lucky you can spot dolphins too here.

5) Ganeshgule Beach:

Very few people know about this beach. It is hidden between mountain & forest deep inside. If you want complete isolation from crowd this is your place. The beach is locked between protruding mountain on both ends. On extreme right (facing sea), there is small natural bath tubs due to water getting locked between the rocks. Enjoy tub bath facing the sea in the most natural way.

I was so much engrossed in the beauty of the beach that I forgot to take the photos!!!
