Unforgettable Stay at Avani Goldcoast, Malaysia!

A Relaxing Getaway to Avani Goldcoast: Exploring, Sharing, and Contributing
One weekend, my husband @PavelSarwar and I and a group of friends embarked on a refreshing three-day trip to Avani Goldcoast Resort, a beautiful seaside retreat located in Sepang, Malaysia. Just about 90 kilometers from Kuala Lumpur, the resort is easily accessible by car, taking approximately 1.5 hours to reach, depending on traffic.

Day 1: Arrival and Exploration
Upon reaching the resort, we were greeted by the stunning sight of overwater villas stretching into the sea, forming a picturesque palm tree shape. Our accommodation was a cozy cottage with a personal veranda and a private swimming pool, offering us a perfect blend of comfort and serenity.

The first day was all about exploring the resort. We walked around the beautiful premises, taking in the breathtaking views of the ocean. In the evening, we enjoyed a buffet dinner with our friends, and I wore a sareefor the occasion. After dinner, we returned to our room to freshen up, then set out to explore the night scenery, sipping coffee and enjoying deep conversations with friends.

Day 2: Sharing and Contributing
The following day, we had a delicious breakfast before heading to a hall room, where I had the opportunity to share my travel experiences and talk about how Google Maps has been an essential tool in my journeys. I also discussed how to contribute to Maps and Local Guides Connect, encouraging everyone to share their insights and experiences. Sometimes, I might not be able to post a meet-up plan on Connect, but I always make sure to talk about it whenever I meet fellow community members at events.

After the session, we had a lunch at the resort, enjoying a variety of local and international dishes. In the afternoon, we went to the beachside, where we played fun games, captured amazing photos, and, of course, contributed to Google Maps by adding new pictures, reviews, and location details. Later that night, we enjoyed another buffet dinner, making the most of the resort’s excellent dining options.

Day 3: Relaxing and Returning Home

On the final morning, we had a relaxing breakfast, took some last-minute photos to capture the memories, and then packed up to return home. It was a short yet fulfilling trip that left us refreshed and inspired.

Accommodation and Services
The Avani Goldcoast Resort offers a range of overwater villas, with room rates varying based on the type of villa and the season. On average, weeknight stays are priced around RM 507, while weekend nights are approximately RM 600. It’s advisable to check the resort’s official website or contact them directly for the most current rates.

How to Get to Avani Goldcoast
Getting to Avani Goldcoast Resort from Kuala Lumpur is quite easy. Here are a few ways to reach them:

  • By Car: The most convenient option is to drive, taking around 1.5 hours via ELITE Highway and Jalan Sepang.
  • By Public Transport: You can take a KLIA Transit train to Salak Tinggi station, then hire a Grab or a local taxi to reach the resort.
  • By Tour Service: Some travel agencies offer day trips or overnight stays with transportation included.

Best Time to Visit
Avani Goldcoast offers a Maldives-like experience, especially during the November to January season when the water levels and scenery are at their best. During other seasons, the water levels may not be as high, affecting the overall appearance of the surroundings.

Final Thoughts
Avani Goldcoast is a wonderful destination for a family or friends’ trip, offering a serene and enjoyable environment. The resort is also ideal for couples seeking a romantic escape or parents wanting to spend quality time with their children. Additionally, Avani Goldcoast is a fantastic place to celebrate special occasions, whether it’s a birthday, anniversary, or a memorable getaway.
With its scenic beauty, comfortable accommodations, and diverse activities, it caters to all types of travelers. Spending time with friends, sharing knowledge, and engaging in fun activities made this trip unforgettable. The experience reaffirmed my love for traveling and contributing to Google Maps, helping others discover and enjoy beautiful destinations like this.

@Silvi , Yes dear, there was a private pool, but we couldn’t spend much time there since our trip was short. It was an amazing feeling, though! Since I went with a group, I had to spend time with everyone, so I couldn’t fully enjoy the private pool. But overall, it was a super relaxing and fun experience! Glad you liked my photo.thank you! :orange_heart:
