As Archaeology enthusiast - I like to add and share the archaeological Heritage whether in form of Sculpture, Monuments, Sites or any antiquity.
I this context I would like to share my emotional story when revisited and added archaeological site on Google Map which I had discovered in 2005 when University of Lucknow was conducting Archaeological Exploration in Sanchankot Area of Unnao District,Uttar Pradesh,India.
The site turned out to be the largest Indian Archaeological site of Kushana Period.
At one trench more than 10 thousand Terracota Archaic figurines were discovered.
Most interesting and emotional moment was finding of an Ancient Temple belonging to Pratihar Period of Indian History of which even local peoples were unknown.
It was scientifically cleaned up in 2005 as it was covered by thick Bushes and nothing was visible from outside. I visited the same temple complex in 2018 and I was surprised to found out that now the temple was taken care of by local villagers who have now started worshiping the place as Dane Baba Sanchankot Unnao.
I added the place in Google Map as Dane Baba Daneshwar as Hindu Temple after 13 years.
