Undefined or invalid parameter - num-points?

Thanks @MortenCopenhagen - I appreciate the help.

I am glad it worked for you but it hasn’t for me annoyingly.

Trying incognito windows which have no caching history also show the bug still. An odd one for sure.

Thanks,

Ian

@Ian_Fry and @DeniGu

I traveled to our summer house where I have another Chromebook running Chrome Version 112.0.5615.134 (Official Build) (64-bit) and here the problem is not going away when I clear the cache and restart Chrome.

This is what I see:

And from incognito, I see the same. So it is likely to be a serverside issue.

Thank you so much for the additional details, @MortenCopenhagen , @Ian_Fry , and @kaho4g .

I’ve shared everything with the responsible teams to investigate. If anything changes on your side, please let me know!

The same thing has been happening to me for three days, does anyone know why this is happening?

@DeniGu , @Ian_Fry and @kaho4g

I noticed another thing that could be related (maybe). The contribution stats page is now orange, while it used to be blue.

And be assured the problem persists.

Cheers

If @Vaux2522 and @Ian_Fry are both in the UK but @MortenCopenhagen is in Denmark then it could be something Google is testing.

Hi @waza28

Yes, I am based in the UK.

The bug does not seem limited by location. The orange colour is also showing here in the UK where it used to be blue.

Hello @Hawkesbury7

It surely is a bug,it has been reported. The concerned team are looking into it. Meanwhile thank you for reporting it as well.

Am sure you will not mind if I merge your post in here to the main thread. In that way you can follow the discussions and update on the issue better.

Thank you @waza28 for jumping in to help.

Happy guiding

Hello @waza28 @Hawkesbury7 etc,

I am here in west Africa and the orange colour is showing here as well. I don’t have the Undefined or invalid parameters problem though but the orange colour is on my profile.

Updated

I should add that the colour is only seen when I view my profile on a Desktop. The mobile/Android view doesn’t show the orange colour.

Happy guiding

Cheers

G’day from Sydney Guides ,

My name is Guy and I’m based in Sydney, Australia. I have been a g-guide for a long time, maybe 15 years. And today was the first time I’ve had the need to reach out in this forum for help.

Just a moment ago I went to check my personal Maps Profile and noticed a change, (see right). I grew concerned when I did some brief research. Others referencing ‘shadow banning’ and the like when discussing this issue, didn’t help.

Now I’m concerned that im in violation. My style is abrasive but honest, as is evident in the reviews I have written. I don’t plan on changing my style, but I would consider removing a review, if i knew I had a review red flagged, and knew which review it was.

I’d really appreciate if somebody could shed some light on my problem?

Kind regards,

In Australia

“Undefined or invalid parameters problem” appeared on my side 8 hours ago, @DeniGu , but only on one of my laptop, with Windows 11 OS

The version of Chrome was 113.0.5672.93 (Official Build) (64-bit).

The second laptop, with windows 10 for businesses and the same version of Chrome was working fine. Connected the the error I had also other kind of “corruption” of the visualization in other Google Application. E…g Translate was showing some data that should be running on background only (like the text “Right margin” and similar texts)

However this morning everything was working fine on both laptops with Version 113.0.5672.93 (Official Build) (64-bit).

Chrome was updated this morning to the version 113.0.5672.127 (Official Build) (64-bit) and it looks fine.
