As i was new to this platform, i wrongly posted this current subject. Can someone help me for deleting this post
Hi @mnvishal
Thanks for asking. This forum is for the volunteer local guides only. Business owners have their own help pages and forum.
Here are the GMB help pages and you find the GMB forum here.
The interests as a business owner and a local guide should not be mixed since there can be conflicts of interest. So please delete your account here on Connect should your primary interests be your business.
If the listing was deleted as non existing the data are gone for good.
Cheers
Morten
Hi @mnvishal ,
Thanks for reaching out to us! Have in mind that here we can’t assist you further on this issue as Connect is dedicated to the Local Guides program.
As @MortenCopenhagen mentioned, you should visit the Google My Business help center and seek support in the dedicated Forum.
I also wanted to let you know that I moved your post to our How-tos section, which is the most appropriate board. More information about the community is available in the following article: How to choose a topic for your Connect post.
Thanks for moving my query as I m new to this platform. Surely I will maintain the compliances
Hi @mnvishal
I would like to add a few note, as I am quite surprised about your post:
- According to this photo, one year ago you tried to add a listing in Google Maps, with the name “Google My Business Verification” and your name in the bottom of the photo. So you seems to be perfectly aware about GMB. The photo you tried to add is using symbols and Logos that only Google can use.
- In your profile you are using the logo of Google Plus. Even if G+ doesn’t exist anymore, the use of the logo is against the Local Guides Program Terms and Conditions : “Do not use the Local Guides logo, pin, or any other Google imagery in any of your online or offline materials without expressed written permission.” The same apply for point 1
- Your post appear to be related to your business activity about GMB. Please keep in mind that Local guides is a volunteer activity, and you should not represent your business here. This is against the Local Guides Program Terms and Conditions too: “Organizations, brands, and businesses are not eligible for the Program.”
