Unable to add photos to newly added place

Team,

I’ve been facing this issue for few weeks, where I’m unable to add photos to places which have been newly added.

When I click on ‘Add Photo’ option, the pop-up isn’t work. Can anyone plz check why this is happening ?

As it seems the business you’re talking about on the screenshot is not claimed by the owner, yet. This is the reason you can not add photos of this place. Here in the Add local business photos or videos article you can see the message displayed. It says that photos won’t show on Google until the owner verifies their business.

Probably the same applies to the other places you mentioned.

Hi @MashaPS ,

Just want to add some point that the reason for not able to add photo is not related to verification process. It may be due to other issues, as you can see the photos in the business without being verified.

If I am not wrong the photos uploaded by the owner won’t show up until they verify the business.

Just my 2 cents.
