Typical food in Argentina: Lomos

In this occasion, I would like to introduce one of my favourite foods, something that we call Lomo :sandwich:.

As you can see, it is a kind of sandwich. Usually it has tenderloin beef inside, along with cheese :cheese: , ham :bacon: , fried egg :fried_egg: , tomato :tomato: , lettuce :leaves: and some dressings. The meat can change, you can choose between pork, beef and chicken. The above has pork bondiola.

The type of bread can also vary :croissant: : I prefer a type we call Arabic Bread, the one in the first pic, how do you call it? But you can also have home made bread, bread crum and some others.

I really love to eat it with french fries :fries: , omg writing this makes me so hungry :drooling_face: . So now you know, if you ever are in Argentina, especially in the center provinces, remember to taste a Lomo.

I’m pretty sure you have something similar in your city, don’t you? Tell me about it :point_down:

PS.: this reminds me we also have this huge thing called Lomo-Pizza, as its name says, it’s a Lomo but the top bread is a pizza!! :pizza: Unfortunately I don’t have a pic of it, but you can google it :wink:

Me encanto el post @gabrielcaballero , me dio hambre y mas ya que estoy próximo a la hora del almuerzo. En mi caso me gusta mas el lomito que se realiza con pan tipo francés, la textura de la costra del pan y el savor de la miga acompaña muy bien al lomito.

Tambien me gusta mucho algunas variantes del lomito tradicional Argentino, el que realizan en chile, que lo denominan ”chacarero”, agregándole entre alguna de las opciones un poco de palta :avocado: (wacamole pisado).

Jaja tal cual @FaridTDF , es peligroso leer estos post cerca de la hora de las comidas. La verdad me encantĂł la versiĂłn del Lomo con palta, me fascina la palta, se lo pondrĂ­a a todo lo salado! Esas fotos me dan un hambree, se ven buenĂ­simos!

Muchas gracias por compartir @gabrielcaballero , en diciembre voy a viajar a Argentina y definitivamente ya tengo esto en lista de comida por probar.

Estoy planeando hacer un post similar sobre comida tĂ­pica de Costa Rica para compartir con la comunidad de Connect los platos de cada paĂ­s.

Claro que sí @IrenePiedra , sin dudas tenés que agregarlo a tu lista. La idea de las comidas típicas me parece genial, no he visto algo similar sobre las comidas de Argentina, por lo que pensaba recolectar las mås conocidas y hacer un post de cada una, para que no quede demasiado largo. Sería buenísimo conocer mås sobre Costa Rica, ya quiero leerlo!
