Two months of futile waiting for the rejection of 100% of the edit reports for the maps

It’s been over two months since I posted: My site edit rejection rate is 100% , and currently, my Local Guides account is still being flagged with “100% immediate rejection of map edit reports without review.” This isn’t just “seeing the error and silently fixing it” as Google employees claim, but a genuine problem, affecting me personally. I truly need answers, not just “silence and a glimmer of hope offered with a simple reassurance.” Over the past two months, there have been so many new updates from locations around me that I haven’t been able to update or report them because of this “100% immediate rejection” label. I hope for a clearer answer, not just for me, but for other affected Local Guides users. I know Google employees and moderators are reading this post, and I hope for serious consideration and a more collective voice. Thank you.

In my experience, getting a Google Moderator to communicate an issue to the relevant team is normally considered a success.

Regarding the issue, I have also had a 100 percent block on all edits. After complaining in person at a Connect Live Event, things improved. I believe about 40% of my edits are not getting approved. But it is still far from how it was mid-2025.

I sincerely hope this will be fixed ASAP.

I truly hope they will “listen” to us in some way; the current situation risks devaluing the Local Guides community we have worked so long to build. Is it really so difficult to simply issue an announcement acknowledging the known issues—if only to reassure the community or show that the situation is being managed? I don’t know how long this will go on, but in my area, there are many locations requiring updates that rely on reports from just me, a handful of other Local Guides, or even tourists. I am quite concerned about this, @MortenCopenhagen.

Same here, facing the issue since July.
