Turkish Kabab In Tallinn

Hello, fellow local guides!

A few months earlier I and my friend tasted a Turkish dish, named Iskender kebab. It’s a famous Turkish dish almost around the globe. We went to the restaurant in the afternoon. The restaurant name was Istanbul kebab Restaurant, by their name you can easily get an Idea about their foods.

Iskender kebab made by the dish consists of döner kebab ( döner kebab is a type of kebab, made of meat cooked on a vertical rotisserie. Seasoned meat stacked in the shape of an inverted cone is turned slowly on the rotisserie, next to a vertical cooking element. The outer layer is sliced into thin shavings as it cooks.) prepared from thinly cut grilled lamb topped with hot tomato sauce over pieces of pita bread and generously slathered with melted sheep butter and yogurt. Tomato sauce and melted butter are generally poured over the dish, at the table.

The environment of the restaurant feels like Turkey, on the wall they put some Turkish art and culture, they also hang some Turkish light. The food was so tasty. After we finish our eating, they offer us some sweets name Baklava for free.

Turkish kebab became am international demanding food. That’s amazing… once cane out of Berlin and spread worldwide in its unique form. Have you ever tried any other turkish dish @Ruxellan ?
