This trek was one of the best trek of my life. This place is 36km far from my native place “Trishula” .Whenever I go to my native place during vacations, I always make it a point to visit Tungnath. This trek marked my 12th adventure, and Tungnath is renowned as one of the highest Shiva temples globally, situated in the mountain range of Tungnath as the highest among the five Panch Kedar temples. Located in the Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand, India, Tungnath is approximately 3.5km from the local village of Chopta.
After 3.5Km trek, next destination point is Chandrashila peak which is 4000m above from sea level. Chandrashila trek is started from Tungnath Temple which is almost 1.5km. Trek is moderate from the temple to peak.
Yes! U can complete full trek in single day easily. Trek is easy upto Total Tungnath temple, only last 1.5km from temple to peak is moderate. Total ascent of one-way is 4.5-5km. @C_T
