Hi, as of last summer I was a local guide here in Handa, level seven, nearly 2,000 photos, many reviews and 2.5 million views. I changed my iPhone and suddenly my photos, reviews etc, started showing up in another account. This new account is exactly the same, same name etc, but it is not connected to the original account. I cannot add anything to my original account. My new account has several hundred photos and a few reviews with 300,000 views or so. Does anyone know how to remedy this? I did nothing that I know if to cause this, so I am sad that I cannot continue with my original account. Help! :-). And thanks!

A person can have multiple Google accounts. Anybody who has a valid Google account can post reviews & photos to Maps. However, one person can have only one Local-guide account.
The local guide account of this post has this Maps link
There aren’t any contributions beyond July’19.
And your new account has the following Maps link

I find another post by you dated 22nd September 2019, describing the same issue.
The scenario appears to me like so:
When you switched over to a new iPhone, you must have realized that you no longer remember the login credentials to your Google account. Then to continue, possibly you created one more account & then signed into that.
However, it looks that you have enabled auto sign-in in the browser and thus you can still log into Local Guides connect through that old account & create a post here.
To resolve your issue, please recover your earlier account, but before that, exit the Local guide program from the new account.
Further, you can’t transfer contributions from one account to another one, in bulk. You have to download the reviews and photos & then upload to the retained account, one by one.
