I have recently faced a trouble in login on the top100 local guides.I tried my username and password,but it shows that my username or password is wrong.I pretty sure that the username and password is the same.I can’t login to the top 100 local guides .I also tried the forgot password option but it is not working.
You last logged in successfully and updated your data on September 6 and since then have failed 3 times successively to login. For security reasons when this happens you are blacklisted. I will send you a private message on how to recover from this.
Excellent @HASHIM_AK and thank you for letting me know. Of the tips I mentioned, saving your password in a password manager is worth considering. As I mentioned, many Local Guides including myself use the Google Password Manager available on their Google Account.
I haven’t been able to enter my Maps data for last month because I can’t log in to my account. When I request password reset, the system tells me it’s sent an email to my registered email address but no email ever comes. Just to save people saying this; there is nothing in my spam/junk or other folders and I have No Filters setup on my Google account. Can anyone help ?
That sounds very much like you have made some error with your registered email. If that’s the case, you would not receive the reset password email as of course it’s being sent to the wrong email. I suggest you join the Top 100 Local Guides Support group and someone will sort this out for you and do it sooner rather than later as the May Leaderboards are about to be prepared
For sure it is the correct email address and I get a notification to say that the password reset email has been sent, but nothing arrives. I will try the support group you suggested.

I had another look at your password and could see what was happening. For security reasons, because of the number of failed login attempts you made, you were blacklisted. I’ve attended to this so please try again now and let me know how you go.
Hello @AdamGT - Hope all is well. I think I may have blacklisted myself also. I think this happened to me once - and I forgot it was a thing - and have been trying to reset my pw for quite some time probably adding to the attempt count. Is this something you can reset for me? Also, sorry if this is the wrong area to post this - it was a result that came up when I asked Google / Gemini if any similar topics had popped up for the leaderboard group. Thank you! - Nik
Oh dear me @02Ercan I sincerely apologise as I have only just seen your message. If your saw my notifications inbox you would understand how this cold possibly happen. Anyhow, because the notification from @EtownStickly just popped up at the very top of my notifications I saw your message.
So now to your issue. As you will have read in the Leaderboard Startup Guide, if you haven’t then I highly recommend that you do read it, you have 3 attempts at logging in and if you fail as you have done then you are prevented from logging in for 24 hours. In your case I suggest that you have entered the wrong password. If you are still locked out then let me know and I can reset this for you.
