TRIP TO BUKIT TINGGI MALAYSIA - BERJAYA HILLS: JAPANESE VILLAGE

Zen-Inspired Japanese Village is located higher up at 3,500 feet above sea level. It was built by craftsmen from Japan.Designed by a well-known Japanese architect, Mr. Kaio Ariizumi, Japanese Village is an astounding place to visit.

The Japanese village is located at 5 minutes’ drive from Colmar Tropicale. When we reached there, we were charmed by the striking and impressive view of mountains as well as a huge golden Buddha hand with a Lotus flower where Buddhists pray for happiness and success.

Stairs alongside Buddha’s hand lead to the village which is actually located much further up the hill. Upon reaching there we were overwhelmed by the beauty of Koi fish pond and waterfall, a perfect spot for photography.

Koi fish pond is filled with brightly colored Koi fish, encircled by beautiful large moss rocks, trees and flowers that offer an eye-catching view. A waterfall fills the pond, which adds more liveliness and attraction to the garden.

We also found a Japanese Spa center, the Tatami Spa. The Tatami Spa offers a wide range of spa treatments, ranging from aromatherapy, reflexology, body scrub, and even hot spring bath.

Then we came across Ume Tatami Suite, a luxurious double-story Japanese cultural bungalow. Each of the Tatami Suite is also well furnished with tatami floors, a kitchenette, futon bedding and three bathrooms with tubs, including one with an Onsen.

Well, with these memories, we ended Bukit Tinggi trip. By getting away from hustle and bustle of city life, I loved the silence and peace of nature even more which are always so relaxing.

All in all, if you like a quick around one day trip, a trip to Bukit Tinggi is most attractive and relaxing.
