Trip Sylhet City

This place around 30 km outside from sylhet city. This river come from Himalaya. The water is blue. In this river sand and lots of coal can be found so local people collect sand and coal and sell them in to market or use fro themselves. In the monsoon every corner of the river fill with the water but in winter there is lots of land come out and there locals grow paddy, watermelon etc. With a small boat we can ride on the river and enjoy the place.

Hi@Shabbir1004

Nice pics indeed, go on posting.

Best.

Thanks for sharing @Shabbir1004 !

The water looks so great, I just want to dive in head first. I wonder if the river is suitable for swimming too.

Can you recommend first time visitors to go and see Sylhet?

Thank you @LeeBee-SA

I would have never thought so @Shabbir1004 , the water looks very warm and pleasant. Maybe I will skip the swimming then.

I would love to see cities that are less frequently visited by tourists. I think you get the most authentic experience this way.

@Shabbir1004 is this a tourist attraction?

@MortenSI hhahahahah… Though the water is cold but still the sun help us to survive the cold… Lol…

In Bangladesh the turtour is less… so I think this is the place you will enjoy… Anyway thank you for letting me know about your choice…

@HoangDang well we Bangladeshi enjoy this part of the country very much so the tourists are less… But as for the foreigner it’s far way from the capital ( Dhaka) where our international airport based on so the foreign tourist is not so much… Only people who wants to spend more then 5 days in Bangladesh they select that itinerary…
