One of the most unforgettable adventures of my life, trekking to Kuari Pass, a stunning Himalayan trail in Uttarakhand. Known as the Curzon Trail, it offers some of the most panoramic views of India’s highest peaks.
The trek began from Joshimath, a serene town in the Chamoli district. The route took us through Auli, Gurson Bugyal, Chitrakantha, and finally to the Kuari Pass (around 12,500 ft). Every step revealed a new shade of nature, dense oak and rhododendron forests, vast meadows, and snow-clad peaks like Nanda Devi, Dronagiri, and Hathi Ghoda Parvat gleaming in the distance.
Reaching the pass at sunrise was the most magical moment, the peaks turned golden under the morning light, and the silence of the mountains filled me with peace. ![]()
