I’m a big retrograde. I love 60 years of the 20th century especially cinema. And first of all, these years are associated with the Croisette, the films of Hitchcock (to Catch a thief) and Lee de Funes (the gendarme of Saint Tropez). In my essay I want to interest individual tourists and go with me to the middle of the 20th century on the Cote d’azur in Cannes.I went to Cannes from nice by bus and highly recommend this type of transport (1.5 euros) since the bus runs along the sea and offers very beautiful views of small villages and the beautiful Mediterranean sea. The bus stopped at the Central station, which is very clean. I walked 10 minutes to my wonderful hotel. My hotel would be in the 60s style with black and white photos of stars. My room was white with crisp white sheets and huge French Windows that had a view of a small market that was open until 12 PM.I changed into a swimsuit and took a beach bag and went to the free beach near the Palace of film festivals. 10 minutes on foot. Cannes makes an unforgettable impression. Very clean. Very. Constantly someone that sweeps vacuums and washes. The beach is clean. Changing rooms and toilets, too. The air is fresh and smells of the sea. I felt great. You can walk a lot and look at the Windows. You can go to Grasse by bus. You can swim and sunbathe all day. You can change into evening attire and take a photo on the red carpet. The hotel is a cafe. for every taste and wallet.
