Traditional vegetarian food: Tempe and Tofu
Village communities in Indonesia are used to vegetarian food.
The legendary vegetarian food is tofu and tempeh.
Tofu and tempeh are foods with soybean staple ingredients.
For the people of Tempe village and know foods that are cheap and easy to find.
Tofu is soybeans blended, the juice is taken.
Tempe is a fermented soybean.
In my post, the daily vegetarian food of the villagers: Fried tempeh, fried tofu, boiled starfish, cucumber.
This food is eaten with chili sauce.

This dish looks very delicious. I like tofu, but I think it’s difficult to find places where they prepare it in a proper way. Where did you have it? What is your favorite dish from tofu?

For those of us who live in Indonesia it is very easy to find out.
Tofu can be fried and eaten directly with chili.
Tofu can also be mixed with other ingredients such as meat or vegetables as vegetables, eat rice.
Favorite tofu dishes are tofu meatballs, fried tofu, which is filled with meatballs.
Tofu meatballs can be eaten immediately with the addition of sauce or chili.

There are many kinds of meatball tofu.
There are tofu meatballs that are only given meatballs and some are added with eggs.
Fried tofu with meatballs in it, soaked in eggs and fried again.

TEMPE
Is traditional food made by fermented soya bean, mix with some fungus powder ( special fungus)
Tempe rich of mineral too
We can make many kind of other side food
Even we can make brownies or lopis ( usually made from glutinous rice)
Most people just make fried tempe as snack or eat with rice
Proud of traditional food of indonesia

Tempe saat ini sudah mengalami perkembangan.
Dulu tempe dibungkus kecil kecil memakai daun.
Sekarang tempe dibuat tebal besar dan dibungkus pakai plastik.
Kalau mau digoreng baru dipotong kecil kecil.

Various tempeh dishes.
Tempe can be made as a cooking method but the texture of tempe remains unchanged.
What is different is only the shape.
This tempe is cooked with fried.
