Traditional Indian sweets

One of the best way to know about the culture of a country is to try their food .

I would like to share the picture of some sweets which is famous in India.

All these sweets are one of my favourite specially the " kaju katli " .

Kaju katli is made up of cashew nuts and milk and dry fruits and dry evaporated milk solids and it’s amazing. Its shape is like a diamond which you may see in the above picture.

My other favourite sweets are :

  • Gulab jamun
  • Jalebi
  • Ras malai
  • Imarti
  • Chamcham

I will ordered these sweets from " Madan’s sweets and restaurant".

Hope you will like it .

Hi @Nyainurjanah

You are absolutely correct  the several brown balls in the top-right area of the plate shared by @Mukul_Anand are called laddus.

Also what you have shared as DODOL is popular in India as well and called Halwa.

The DODOL looks like Turunelveli Halwa from the Tamilnadu state of India
