Announcement We have finally reached our finish line for TRAC '26
We did a total of 138,008 approved new roads on Google maps

End of TRAC '26 Celebrations meet-up !!!
Many thanks to all our dedicated local guides who mapped very meticulously. Although we faced storms of delayed approvals and other issues, yet we made it !!! We are a team of achievers. We don’t give up or give in to hindrances or delays as it were.

We started out with about 155 local guides signing up to join to campaign. As a result of various issues and circumstances beyond our own control, we ended up with 85 eligible and active local guide who have contributed at least one road during this campaign. This is an impressive and improved number as compared to TRAC '25 last season !!! . We hope for more participation of local guides next season.

Special thanks to all the four team leaders. Despite the busy schedule of life and other local guides activities, you have successfully. Special thanks to all who have been developing ideas, methods etc to make TRAC '26 a success as it is now. Well we would like to say thank you to Google team as well who have permitted us to organise this campaign. We would keep on pleading for more support and incentives and considerations from you. Just to facilitate our voluntary effort to improve Google maps.

@MarcoDavoli you’re the number one man on this campaign. We have to say thank you for your inspiration and enthusiasm. We really appreciate the roaders site. That took alot of technical know how, alot energy and financial capacity. We celebrate you as well.

We have had some very exceptional and hard-working local guides on our team. We will just endeavour to mention one local guide per team jsut to celebrate. Otherwise everyone has done well, we WIN TOGETHER AS TEAM TRAC

Please Note: This is not a competition it’s a simple campaign. It is aimed at creating awareness on drawing roads.It’s also aimed at improving the maps network worldwide. There are no gift or medals at the end of the campaign.it’s a voluntary activity like all local guides activities.

I am truly delighted and immensely proud to witness how the TRAC community has grown and flourished across the globe.

Every TRAC season brings with it a unique opportunity not only to contribute to Google Maps but also to discover emerging talents, celebrate dedicated contributors, and inspire new members to step forward and make a difference.

TRAC has consistently been a platform where newcomers transform into confident contributors, and this season was no exception.

What makes TRAC truly special is its ability to nurture growth while fostering a spirit of collaboration and community. Every season introduces us to new shining stars, and it is always inspiring to watch their journeys unfold.

A special congratulations to @SarathUpendran, whose exceptional pace, dedication, and genuine commitment once again set a remarkable benchmark for the community. His consistency and passion continue to inspire many fellow roaders.

Equally inspiring are @GolamAgam and @khmansour1, who have demonstrated tremendous growth throughout the campaign. Their achievements are not only personal milestones but also shining examples for others who aspire to contribute and grow within the community. Congratulations to both of you.

And what can I say about @Supriyadevkar? From the very first day, I had a strong feeling that she would achieve something extraordinary once she stepped into the world of road mapping. This season proved exactly that. Securing a place among the Top 10 contributors in the TRAC 2026 campaign is a phenomenal achievement, especially considering that this was her very first season of road mapping. The growth curve she has created for herself is truly inspiring and serves as a powerful reminder that passion, commitment, and willingness to learn can lead to remarkable accomplishments. Her journey will undoubtedly encourage many more Local Guides to take their first steps and contribute with confidence. best of luck!

No appreciation of TRAC would be complete without acknowledging @MarcoDavoli. Behind every successful campaign is a strong foundation, and Marco’s contributions have been instrumental in helping TRAC evolve and scale over the years. This season, technology played a transformative role, and much of that credit goes to Marco. The Roaders Club emerged as a true game changer, bringing contributors together, fostering engagement, and strengthening the sense of community. In the TRAC team, I may be just a small player, but one thing I have always admired about @MarcoDavoli is that he gave importance to everyone equally. Good news @SholaIB. I missed a few days while on an overseas trip recently, but afterwards I continued right up to last night. The final outcome was fantastic despite initial challenges. Looking forward to TRAC 2027 now.

Seeing the number 138K truly reflects the immense effort and dedication behind it. As a beginner like me, I was always motivated to add at least a few roads every day. I have always been aware of the constant support and guidance provided by our Captain, Mentors, TRAC Team Leaders, and fellow members.

Over the past three months, while consistently adding roads, I received tremendous help from @SholaIB , @Kumaarsantosh and @MarcoDavoli . Their support played a significant role in helping me achieve something meaningful within my new group, and I am genuinely happy about that.

I regularly followed the leaderboard and was motivated to contribute more, especially to increase women’s participation and representation. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all my teammates and colleagues for their encouragement, support, and teamwork throughout this journey.

I would like to extend my warmest greetings and congratulations to all the local guides who participated in the TRAC 2026 campaign. Thanks to your tireless efforts and dedication, over 138,000 new roads have been added to Google Maps! A truly significant milestone.

Being part of this campaign has been an incredible experience. Initially, I had just 54 roads approved, but today I have successfully crossed over 1,800 roads. I never give up, and I am determined to continue my journey!

I would also like to extend a special thanks and my sincere congratulations to @GolamAgam and @SarathUpendran. On this outstanding achievement. You have consistently set yourselves apart, and it is impressive to see how far you have progressed. I honestly hope to learn from both of you regarding how you managed to make such incredible progress in such a short time.

In conclusion, I would like to express my gratitude to the organizers of TRAC 26, specifically Captain (@SholaIB), @Kumaarsantosh, and Ciao @MarcoDavoli. Without their supervision and guidance, this would not have been possible.

What a fantastic season, @SholaIB. Despite the “issues” with approvals, I can’t believe the numbers we finished with.

@MarcoDavoli – thank you so very much for creating your site for us to check stats and progress. I truly believe it was a huge motivator for many of the guides.

Congratulations to Team Dublin for pulling off a #1 position. And a huge acknowledgment to Team Mexico for their HUGE jump over the last two weeks. They closed the gap on us by a considerable amount.

Of course, thank you to Team Singapore for such an amazing turnout! I’d like to note that for the first time in TRAC history, we had no private discussions amongst the team and decided to post everything publicly to benefit current and future TRAC stars. Congratulations to the whole TRAC '26 community on reaching 138,008 new roads What an incredible milestone.

Huge respect to @SholaIB for leading this with such calm and inclusive energy, and to @MarcoDavoli for all the Roaders work behind the scenes — that mix of community and technology is genuinely inspiring.

I add roads over here in Japan too (still only around 1,000 so far ), so seeing this team celebrate first-season roaders and veterans alike really shows what “WIN TOGETHER” means.

If there’s room in the next season, I’d genuinely love to join in from Japan — please count me in Cheering you all on from Tokyo until then
