The Rangamati is a eastern and hilly district of Bangladesh, it is full on natural beauty and also a one of the great destinations for many tourists. Now, I am sharing a few beautiful places those I have visited recently.
Hanging Bridge, Rangamati
The Hanging Bridge is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Rangamati district, a lot of tourists visited this place every day. The bridge was built on the Kaptai Lake and situated near by Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation complex area. This tourist place managed by the Bangladesh Parjantan Corporation. It is 6Km away from the Rangamati town.
Shuvolong Waterfall, Rangamati
The Shuvolong Waterfall is also very popular tourist attractions in Rangamati district, a lot of tourists visited this place every day. The waterfall is surrounded by high hills and divine the natural beauty. It is situated in the eastern and hilli district Rangamati, there is no road connect from the main town, tourist can travel by the boat only.
Polwel Park, Rangamati
The Polwel Park is another popular tourist attractions in Rangamati district; a lot of tourists visited this place every day, one side of the park is designed for luxuries cottages so anyone can hire a cottage; this park is managed by Rangamati District police. The park is situated on the bay of the Kaptai Lake and in the eastern side of the Rangamati town.
Bargee Lake, Rangamati
The Bargee Lake is also a popular tourist attractions in Rangamati district. The Bargee Lake is a small part of the Kapti Lake and situated on the bay of the Kaptai Lake and in the eastern side of the Rangamati town. There are many tourists visited this place every day. This tourist place also uses as a resort and have luxuries cottages, so anyone can hire and stay in the cottages.
Memorial Temple of Banvantha, Rangamati
Many people also visit the Memorial Temple of Banvantha and his birth place of Banvantha; both of them are tourist attractions in Rangamati district. There are many tourists visited this place every day to see this beautiful temple. Many Buddhists visit the temple for prayer. The birth place is situated just opposite the temple, which is now drowned under water of Kaptai Lake.
Kaptai Lake, Rangamati
The Kaptai Lake is one of the targeted destinations to many tourists, it is one of the largest lake in Bangladesh. The lake is located on Karnaphuli River in Rangamati district. The lake was not built naturally but it was created due to Kaptai Dam called the Kaptai Dam. The water dam was built to produce electricity from using river water.
