Hello my friends. I hope you all are fine. Those who watch Bollywood movies may heard this two songs - Duniya from the Film Luka Chuppi and Rajwadi Odhani from the film Kalank. Did you know what is the common thing in both of these songs. The Shooting location of both of these songs is same location. These both songs are shooted at the entrace gate of Gwalior Fort. Gwalior Fort is also known as Gibralter of India. Our Lg’s @Sahilmsk2208 and @rizbab28 have already posted some detailed posts on Gwalior Fort and its places so I will not go in the deep and I will discuss my Gwalior tour.
I visited Gwalior by train. Because of overnight journey I couldn’t be able to tour on the same day and I reached my room and relaxed. I also have some work next day which will be going take my full day so in the evening time I visited Surya Temple which was developed and maintained by Birla Group in the evening time which was not too much far from my room. Mobile was strictly prohibited in the Temple premises so I couldn’t take any photograph of Surya Temple.
After Surya Temple I visited Gole Ka Temple dedicated to Lord Ram which is also the oldest temple of Gwalior City but today it’s condition is not good.
Then Day was over. Next Day I woke up and gone for work. My full day was consumed. In the evening when I reached room I heard about the Sound and Light Show of Gwalior Fort. Then I suddenly reached to Fort and buy one ticket of Sound and Light Show.
Sound and Light show is the best medium to know about the History and Knowledge about Gwalior City and Fort. In this sound and light show the visuals are projected on the walls of Fort. The Ticket price for Indian Nationals was Rs 250 and for foreigner it was slightly high. This show was available in both Hindi and English Languages. The show timings in Hindi was 7:30 pm and in English 8:30 pm.
Here are some pics of the show.
After this second day was also over. Now only one day was left to visit the whole Gwalior. The target was to visit full fort, Gopanchal Caves, Jai Vilas Palace and Cenotaph of Rani Laxmibai. As this post is becoming long my third day tour will come in part two in which I will explain how I visited all of these places in just 6 and a hours in daytime with 43 degree Celsius maximum temperature. Here are some pics from part two:
So thank you all and if you are interested in Part 2 then please reply so that I will post it in less time.

Amazing… Very informative and helpful post. Your travel story is very interesting.
The light and sound show looks to be of much importance… But the ticket charge looks a bit high.
The first photo is very impressive - very nicely composed shot…
Gopanchal Jain Caves also look great - the Heritage value is very high!
Sas Bahu Temple has some resemblance to Sun Temple, I felt.
Thank you very much for reminding to read this beautiful post, dear Love.

Regards with gratitude to you all…

Thank you so much @TravellerG sir. Yes the Ticket price of Sound and Light show was a quite high but not for travelling and history lovers. In part 2 I will describe about Jai Vilas Palace which is the costliest place to visit in Gwalior. But when we experience the places ourselves then this price also seems less. Apart from Gwalior Sound and Light show is also organized at Orchha, Khajuraho and Mandu in Madhya Pradesh.

Hello @LovePathak28 , Excellent post, the photos are stunning, I appreciate your efforts in shooting and sharing the photos though your schedule was very busy. All photos are very impressive. I like Sas Bahu Temple and Gwalior Fort View from Jehangir Mahal. I am curious to know, is there any statue in side the surya mandir.

Thank you @PrasadVR sir. Yes in Surya Temple there is a statue inside which is dedicated to Surya Dev. The Ventilation in the temple is given in such a way that the sun rays directly reaches to the Surya Dev statue inside the temple.
