We are moving at a speed almost equal to that of sound and light !!! Imagine getting 30k Challenges in 20 days. We initially fixed 3,000 challenges but now 30,000. It’s very inspiring and good. The excitement is quite high really and we all seem to be enjoying it all. Thank you everyone who is contributing. The goal is to improve Google maps. @anon73568702 seems to be rocketing away. We are not sorry he got access. Special thanks to @JustJake he’s not as bad as he looks really. He has been the Co-Host and statistician on TORM. Thanks to others like @Kumaarsantosh@PrasadVR etc. @tony_b and others not on our telegram chat, please take note of this post.
We have 11 days more to go. Surely it’s unpredictable what figure we can attain. We have so many new professionals on the job now, @MarcoDavoli@MahabubMunna etc.
Important notice, please keep updating your figures daily or as often as you have new figures Here is the Form for updating figures
Ask questions if you’re not clear what to do. Reachout and connect if you’re stuck. Let’s get the job done. @AdrianLunsong common move, you can do it don’t sleep on the job
I’m still on track doing 100 challenges per day. It takes about an hour or a bit more if the challenges are complex. I still focus on DR Congo.
I started removing roads drawn by others when they are not a clear road but just some random tire tracks or maybe a water stream.
Wow, completing 30,000 challenges in just 20 days is incredible! Congrats to the entire TORM team — a great example of teamwork and inspiring leadership from Captain @SholaIB and @JustJake. Let’s keep up the great work, and happy mapping.
Hi @SholaIB, and hello to all the amazing TRAC and TORM enthusiasts people,
Unfortunately, I had a small health issue that forced me to take a long break.
Luckily, that dark period is now behind me, and I’m finally back to my passions: TRAC, TORM, and of course, LGC!
I know I’m joining this new challenge quite late this time, but I hope my small contribution can still help us reach the usual “modest” goals set by our captain.
Hi @SholaIB thanks for sharing this, please accept my apology I am celebrating festival of lights in India this week, it’s the biggest community celebration for us, will update the details and ask questions next week. Hope you can understand
Thanks for the report @SholaIB. Looks like the initial target was way too low. Seems there was a lot of untapped potential just waiting to be engaged. Congratulations to all of us.
I agree with this. In my personal spreadsheet I record both my number of challenges as well as my kms, and just like you, my typical challenge is 1km on average.
Ooo, that’s hard to say since we didn’t get complete buy in. However, from the 13th through today, we’ve knocked out over 16,500 Challenges and over 12,000 kms. I’d say we easily put a 10k dent in the outstanding Uganda challenges. What an amazing run!
I’m on the same boat. But, I’ve noticed that I’m within 30kms of hitting 300km on every Mission. I may play a little game to try and get 300s accross the board by the 31st.
