By definition a Chalet is a wooden building with a large roof overhang as explained here.

But there are many local interpretations and adaptations of the Google Maps categories that makes sense. And since Google never published any guidance on how the categories should be understood and used across languages, I would go ahead and add the place as a Chalet.

Don’t add the photos while creating the new place. Make sure to add the phone number and website as this will make approval more likely.
