Please read Why is my edit status “Pending” or “Not Applied”? if you haven’t already done so.
You may also find How to make sense of Google’s responses to your edits interesting since Approved, Not applied, and Pending are explained in more detail.
And recently I posted How to get Edits and New Places Approved with lots of tips that could be relevant for you.
There is nothing you can or should do while an addition is pending. You have already added 40 places successfully.
You may want to look into your reviews. About half of them er hidden probably because you don’t follow the guidelines for reviews.
