Hello, our very dear & respected @C_T

Welcome back… after Feb 21, I feel this is your first post!

Really enjoyed reading the text part & seeing the beautiful + contextual Photos.

Congratulations on a successful visit to such a rare place!

The first photo & A temple by the lake" photos are my selection.

But, I could not fully understand your usage

Why Astronomical (or celestial) Miracle? - I did not get you, please.

Thanks for your response.

Sincere regards

@TravellerG

I would like to answer this on behalf of @C_T since this lake is at a stone’s throw distance from my hometown of Aurangabad.

The lake is a crater formed by the impact of a meteor several thousand years ago.

And this is the second-largest such lake in the world.

That is the point - Oh… OK…

Now I got it; thank you very much, dear @TusharSuradkar

Hi @TravellerG

Thanks for your compliments.

I checked the translation.
That says, “Impact of a huge meteorite”.
Nevertheless, @TusharSuradkar has already answered your query.

One hypothesis says this specific impact created huge dark clouds lasting for countless years wiping out a lot of flora & fauna.

Thanks @Sophia_Cambodia

Nice to know there is a similar impact crater in Cambodia.

But surprisingly, Wikipedia doesn’t mention that.

Have the WIKI editors missed one such landmark?

I got confused with volcano crater that created Beoung Yakloam, I rechecked again yours mentioned about meteorite, not volcano @C_T
