Top frozen yogurt spots, according to Local Guides

Here in New York, we’ve finally hit temperatures made for strolling around the city with an invigorating, icy treat. While normally I go for ice cream, this summer I intend to indulge in so much frozen dairy that the smartest plan of attack is to space out my ice creams with frozen yogurt, so as not to burn out too quickly. If you’d like to join me, here are some of the top frozen yogurt spots around the world according to your fellow Local Guides.

1. Yogurtland (Los Angeles, California)

Local Guides say:

“Imagine a land where, at the turn of a handle, you can fill your cup with scrumptious Frozen yogurts of all flavors. This land is called Yogurtland. And to top it off, there’s toppings. Chocolaty and fruity and even candy. If you’d like to treat your tongue to a treat oh, this is the place to eat.” -Local Guide John Del Gaizo

2. Yogurt Mill (San Diego, California)

Local Guides say:

“The best yogurt in town! The servings are enormous, the staff is great & the prices are incredible! Seriously we come here at least twice a week. We have even had this for dinner! And when we remember to bring a coupon it’s even better! I love the tarts, the wife loves the sweets :yum:” -Local Guide Veronica Tovar

3. Tamara (Tel Aviv, Jerusalem)

Local Guides say:

“We seriously loved this place! The natural frozen yogurt tasted good, but the banana mango yogurt and the coconut yogurt tasted at least as good! The choice in toppings was big. Many fresh fruits, several chocolate toppings and all kinds of granola’s and nuts. Their concept is great. You can fill your cup up with toppings until it doesn’t fit anymore. You can go as crazy with that as you want.” -Local Guide Annemieke Smit-Roeland

4. East Coast Frozen Custard (Cleveland, Ohio)

Local Guides say:

“The history of East Coast Custard fills us Clevelanders with joy and nostalgia from childhoods and memories past. Wonderful place. Also to date, this is the best soft serve style custard and ice cream in Cleveland. You just can’t beat it.” -Local Guide Ron Largent

5. Myfroyoland (Mumbai, India)

Local Guides say:

“I visit this place every time I’m going to Bandra at night. The yogurts taste heavenly and everyone becomes a child with their do your own toppings. It’s open till very late and you can always find families at night coming here for dessert.” -Local Guide Prerna Gupta

Oh gosh!! I think the frozen yoghurt stores in my city really, really need to up their game!!! I’m a huge fan of frozen yoghurt so much so that I still get them during the winter months! Someone’s got to support the stores!!

@kmajewski Thank you for sharing, all of these look really good. Unfortunately they are also really far from me, and the frozen yogurt spots in my area aren’t so good in comparison.

I had my first frozen yogurt in Chile, there are two big chains with branches everywhere and they are both really good. I tried a couple of frozen yogurts here in the Buenos Aires city and province, and they don’t have the chocolate flavored kind, which is my favorite, and didn’t have that many toppings either.

I hope better frozen yogurt shops open here soon!

@kmajewski I love yogurts expecially home-made and unsweetened. Here in Lagos, I enjoy flavored yougurts at Coldstone or Pinkberry.
