Top 100 Star media link and history table functioning correctly now

Hello friends,

The unstable issues of the Top 100 Star media link and history tables have been rectified by @AdamGT here.

For the benefit of newbies, I am sharing here what I have done in simple steps.

Locate your Star Photo on the Connect:

  1. Find your Star photo within the Local Guides’ 2024 Album of Star Photos.
  2. Click on the share icon at the bottom.
  3. Copy the permalink that appears.

Access Top 100 System:

  1. Select Your Stars tab and click on Photo

  2. Paste the permalink into the text box titled Enter the Permalink of your Connect screenshot post.

  3. Click Submit to save the changes.

Verify Link Functionality:

  1. Click the link in the line below:

  2. Confirm the link correctly directs you to your Star photo on the Connect.

Star View History

  1. Copy the Star view the History table from the Top 100, (VIP lounge>Star view table>photo).
  2. Paste the copied History table into your Star photo History table on Connect, and save it.
  3. Confirm the Star History table appears correctly.

Thanks for the steps @PrasadVR Ji - very useful.

I am not a fan of the leaderboards unless the data comes from the Connect platform directly.

Externally and manually maintained leaderboards are based on submissions and participation, hence their credibility is doubted.

Hi @PrasadVR thanks for your how-tos . I fixed all my stars now. Unfortunately I have two issues:

  1. I don’t know how to add captions to 360s iframes and tables.
  2. As a Basic System User I don’t have access to my star view history.

Maybe someone can help with the solution?

Hi @LudwigGermany ,

I am so happy all your star issues are fixed.

Maintain your star views data history for example in Excel and then build the table manually below your star photo on Connect.

Please take a look at this topic, by our friend @Kumaarsantosh, it might be helpful.

Unfortunately this doesn’t work with I frames.
