Sorry to hear that you had problems registering on mobile @jasoncugs , but great to heart that you managed to register on a PC. Verification shouldn’t take too long.
That was also my experience, Jason. Smartphone is not always the best for registering.

There’s a lot of Tall Johns out there right now trying to get their picture noticed online, and you’re bumping them down the results list! 
Did that get you excited to go hunt for more locations to shoot, @Bartmans ? You should check out the latest Let’s Guide Podcast to hear some mapping photo pros talking about what makes a great contribution. @AdamGT , @TerryPG , and @MortenCopenhagen have all the tools you need to score some great featured photos.
I really wish I was in Haarlem trying to shoot the featured photo of Melger’s Wine and Beverages about now. I’ll let you and @JanVanHaver know when I’m in the area again. Melger’s is a much easier trip than trekking out (and back) to Westvleteren!

Please let me know in case you’re in the neighborhood, @JustJake (and that applies to @JanVanHaver as well). In the old center of Haarlem you can also find the Jopenkerk. This church was on the list to be demolished, but was bought by a local brewer and is now a specialty beer paradise 
.

@Bartmans Now we’re talking! I’ve been to Jopen twice. It’s a beautiful brewery. Sadly, my hopes of getting back to Netherlands have been dashed for the foreseeable future, but I’m looking for any opportunity to return.

Sorry for my late reply here, as well as a pretty full notifications inbox, my plate has been quite full of late.
I’m not sure what problems you were having registering on a smartphone @Bartmans but I imagine that you will have the same problems when updating your monthly data. If this is the case then I’d be interested to hear from you so that I can investigate these issues. In the meantime congratulations for successfully registering and we look forward to seeing you on the leaderboards in just over a week
Thank you @MAHMOUDALWAN for your appreciation and it’s great that even though you didn’t update, you are still there in “Pole position” for 5 out of the 6 metrics for beautiful Egypt. Better than myself as I’m only up there for 1 of the 6 metrics! Do make sure you update your data this month brother because early in the new year, just over a week away, it’s going to be a BIG update

I should also mention that when you leave a message or reply to someone on Connect you should properly tag them so that they will get a notification of your message, otherwise they may not ever know about or see your message. To do this, first type @ then type the first few characters of their name until you see their name in the dropdown list. Finally, select the person’s name. You will see that I tagged you at the start of this message to you. Many think that this is done automatically when you reply to someone but it is not.
