Hi @AdamGT , thanks for the summary. Just one remark: I’m a LG level 8 for several months now but in the overview I’m stuck at level 7.

It’s great that you are checking the posted leaderboards @Bartmans , and thanks for letting me know about your change in Local Guide Level.
Up until recently it was left to participating Local Guides to update their Profile when there are changes in things such as their Local Guide level and sadly, on checking your profile, I see that you were one of these (but you’re not alone) and this has led to the error that you are referring to. You can see another classic example of this here where a Level 9 has ended up on a Level 5 leaderboard 
Because these Local Guide omissions impact so negatively on the integrity of the leaderboards, I’ve since included extra “smarts” to prevent this from happening. So that this is corrected in future leaderboards:
- Visit your data entry system,
- Visit your Profile page and note the currently set Level (7)
- Update your Maps Data, and finally
- Check to see that your Profile has also been updated.
Let me know how you go.

). It took some effort but finally I could re-register again and was able to update the required fields in my personal profile page.

No, as @JustJake mentioned, not an automated response @Bartmans but I did forget to mention that you had also entered an incorrect Maps profile link. Not to worry, I fixed this for you. You should also think about entering your star photo. Regardless on how good it is or how many views it has, it’s a great way to learn about what photos you should be taking
Finally, don’t forget to update your data each month and try to do this on the same day of the month. Pick a day that fits in best with your lifestyle.

), @AdamGT . I already noticed the incorrect Maps profile link but I was unable to correct that 404 - Not found (top100localguides.com) into a valid one because it was grayed out.
I’ll think about my star photo but I’m not convinced yet. I am a very average photographer and I still wonder why this ugly picture is my most viewed one 
.

All good @Bartmans , your Maps profile link is fixed now. That’s the very nature of star photos and that’s precisely why the leaderboards started. Anyway give it some thought.

Hey, @Bartmans , that photo is the Featured Photo for the Tall John Abbey Tower. So, any time someone looks it up, finds directions, Googles it, Googles 'World’s Tallest John", etc., your photo is likely somewhere prominently in the results. Pretty awesome!
By the way, I’d love to see a post on some of the smaller towns and villages in Netherlands that you photograph. Haarlem is one of my favorite places.

@Bartmans As they say “don’t beat yourself up”. That photo doesn’t seem so ugly to me. My Star Photo is fairly insignificant too, and I can hardly see why it has so many more views than all my others. Just keep on doing what you’re doing.

Es muy probable que no haya muchos colombianos participando en los tableros. De hecho sospecho que es muy probable que solo un colombiano este compartiendo su información de contribuciones. Recuerda que la participación en estos tableros es voluntaria y sería muy bueno que te unieras a ellos.

La plataforma tiene todas las indicaciones necesarias para que puedas participar, recuerda que un vez al mes debes actualizar la info de tu contribuciones en ese mismo link para ir creando tu historial.

De hecho si esta incluido UAE en este tablero pero a quien no veo en el resto de tableros que @AdamGT publica cada mes es a ti. La participación en estos tableros es voluntario y seria muy bueno si te unes. Para participar debes comenzar tu registro en este link: Registro Top 100
Recuerda que cada mes actualizar la información de tus contribuciones y de tu Star Photo, solo define un dia especifico y en esa fecha de cada mes actualiza tu información.

@Udithakw Me parece que este link es el que necesitas para actualizar tu ciudad en el perfil de Local Guides.
El último campo te permite actualizar tu ubicación.

@Stephanie_OWL I love admiring decorations whether it’s at public locations or someone’s house and yard. Taking pictures of amazing decorations is so hard! Because it’s hard to bring the atmosphere and the feelings into the shot. Pictures almost never do them justice. But we try, and we try

thanks for your patience, I was trying to register on my mobile which proved difficult.
I redid the registration now on a PC and was much easier.
The links to info don’t show up on mobile - they are not as obvios - the links work it is not so visible.
Can’t wait to be verified and check my stats!
