@MarkAuchincloss appearing in the Top 10 is not the only requirement for appearing on the average views per day board and in your case it appears that you manually updated your Star Video Views History table in October but didn’t update on the T100 Leaderboard System (Readme FAQ #2 refers). You must update the T100 Leaderboard System’s data and even thought it might be easier, avoid manually updating Star Video Views History table.

Yes, and we believe those dozens are still happening in the background but won’t show up as visible delta, until it crosses the 1% accrual.

Thanks @tony_b and this is an interesting one and I think due to the old star video data entry screen problem that others including @claude_richard experienced. Fixed now.

There are actually 22 countries participating in the star video boards @tony_b but only 8 have met the requirements to participate on the average views per day board and it really surprises me that they don’t. I guess updating is hard work

Yes that’s true @tony_b. We started adding videos around mid 2023 and paying attention to our star videos at about September 2023 whereas with star photos it was 3 years earlier so some of star photos are certainly older than star videos and as you say, still in that early phase.

How would you define “stale star photos” @WilfriedB, those uploaded pre February 2024?

That’s a good point @tony_b, your star photo had already become a red star before the February 2024 change.

That’s also an interesting variable @WilfriedB. In hindsight it would have been great value to record if our stars were featured (that is the POI cover) or position on the list.
We can’t deny that, I certainly can’t!

Hi @AdamGT my entry is not showing. I posted my entry in the album in mid November. Local Guides’ 2025 Album of Star Videos - #59 by Trachemysta , so not sure what the problem is. I have added it to the top100 video in my profile but the entry gets automatically erased every time I save it. Any suggestions as to why this is happening and how to get my video here? Many thanks in advance.

Thank you @Annaelisa. As I suspected in my earlier reply to @tony_b, this confirms my suspicion that this is a consequence of the data entry issue that @claude_richard had first experience (see here) and which has now been fixed as well as improving the User Interface. Once again thank you for the deep checking.

Was geschieht mit dem T100 System, speziell dem Problem der Kartendaten, die nicht eingegeben werden können?
I’m really surprised at the significant gap between these two positions. I would have assumed that we had plenty of LGs stacked up in the middle here. But, then I look at the Top 100 overall and see that only @tony_b and @Mo_TravelleerX sit between @AZ_2021 and I. There seems to be a pretty big window for some Top 20 people to sneak through.

As mentioned in several comments above and also in the discussion on star videos topic, there was a problem with the data entry system which was only recently fixed so please try again. If you encounter a problem such as this then try to raise it early so a solution can be found rather than wait until after the latest leaderboards have been posted.
Also, I noticed that you haven’t updated your star photo details on the Leaderboard System since early December 2024. Just saying

As you’ve noted @JustJake, the gaps can be wider on the individual Local Guide level boards and these gaps taken on the overall boards as in this case by @tony_b and @Mo_TravelleerX so yes, more Levels 10s could fill the gaps like that between yourself and @AZ_2021.
Hi @AdamGT . Sorry I did not catch this issue earlier. I posted the entry in the album thread and did not know there was a problem as everything looked fine. I just noticed that my name was missing in your list yesterday, hence my query. However, in the top100 local guides website where I am supposed to introduce the data of my star video, everything seems to be fine and saved. However whenever I come back my star video data entry is empty. I have tried using different browsers and it happens over and over the same. Not sure what I am doing wrong but I have introduced the data many times and it keeps getting erased. Any ideas?
Btw, I haven’t updated my star photo because it hasn’t increased in views since I originally posted it 
I just noticed that on chrome (but not on mozilla), I get this message at the top of the page after I add everything and click on “Save star video”: “Warning: Undefined array key “piv” in /home/customer/www/top100localguides.com/public_html/main.php on line 720“. See attached screenshot

While it might apply to many being uploaded before 2024, I mean it more general in the sense all media which doesn’t show any delta since a month or two @AdamGT.

I agree, it would be nice, if we could (but I don’t see an easy way

However, there is yet another point:
Although I cannot prove, I am convinced, most of the high number views are not gained at the listing where we posted it, but on other places where Google chooses to show them in addition of the POI.
One example are geographic features (city, county, country …), another example, I learned only recently, is an API where web site owners can pay Google to show photos from Maps.
While I don’t know to how many of our photos this applies (or did apply in the past), I am sure my “star photo” was never seen at the listing where I posted it, instead I found it at the pin of the city, which is an extremely touristic place.
