Introduction
This post aims to showcase the best 360 spheres contributed to Maps by Connect Local Guides and when it comes to the “best”, we mean those having the most views. For convenience, we call these star 360 spheres.
The cover image:
One example star 360 sphere is that shown as the cover image of this post. It was taken by @Trail_blazer (DK), a Level 10 Local Guide from Faridabad, in India. It as taken at the small village of Sihri, located in Punahana Tehsil of Nuh district in the Haryana state, India. In his post here, DK describes his star as follows: “It’s a small village around a hillock. I used to travel to this place in winters and take shots of sunset and sunrise. It also offers great picturesque in rain season too. There is not much to hang around other then just lush greenery and pure countryside experience.”
Below I have also embedded a version of DK’s 360 sphere so you can test navigating the Siri image in all directions and you will see how such photos make you feel immersed in the scene. To do this, on a smartphone simply swipe or drag your finger across the screen to look around the image or if you’re using a desktop, click your mouse on the photo and drag in any direction to explore the view.
