@PrasadVR That wouldn’t look right. They quite correctly belong at the top of the Level 10 board. It would probably be better to forgo the Million Points board instead. As this is the Points Leaderboard, it goes without saying that the top overall LGs with millions of points are indeed LGs from the top of Level 10.

The problem is that if we delete the Local Guides having million points from the Level 10 board, then those that are listed at the top will be seen to be top level 10s so they should be included on the Level 10 board. We highlight these top achievers in separate boards and we also do this on other Leaderboard streams (e.g. Photo and Video views).

I didn’t realise that I had done this @WilfriedB. As you will know, great Local Guide photos are randomly displayed on the homepage the Leaderboard System so at the time when I was ready to create the points leaderboards, your photo appeared and I immediately said wow, I really like the photo and I’ll use it for the points leaderboards so I immediately took a screenshot. The System does record the number of times a Local Guide’s photo is displayed. Also earmarked for future are kudos numbers, links to which leaderboard post on Connect that the photo has appeared on, and a popup window displaying details on the photo including a full description. Wish I had these futures now

I agree @tony_b, it wouldn’t look right and your suggestions is a better one but we would need to do the same on the Photo and Video boards. I have thought about this before and thought that perhaps I could use different colors. You might recall on the old Connect platform I was able to add color bands on tables but unfortunately the new Connect doesn’t allow this.

… no seriously, I am very well aware how much work is involved to create these leader boards and feel greatly honored about the impressions this photo did create.
For those who did not see last month’s explanation, a short description:
You can see two Nations here. The green on the right belongs to Germany, while the pond is in the Netherlands. It belongs to Gitstappermolen in Vlodrop NL an old watermill right at the river marking the border line. The mill was in my back, when I shot this photo.
In fact, within a distance of 200 meters, you can find 4 points of interests: Two restaurants and the historic water mill in the Netherlands, als well as a B&B in Germany,
We found the place already 11 years ago during a search for water- and windmills in the region, but didn’t visit again until last year.

I liked the photo when I first saw it and decided to use it as the cover in May, but then it just goes to show how busy I get and how much is in my head so much so that only a month later I’d forgotten about the May cover and of course the explanation you previously gave about the photo. But now that this has all surfaced, it is all coming back and I even recall your previous explanation. As is often said, it is funny how things work out. My partner and I just watched Three Identical Strangers, a Netflix documentary, everyone reading this might like to see it.

Yes it is @Annaelisa and what’s really interesting is some of the ways that they hear about the Leaderboards including AI chatbots, social network groups and general searches using terms like “who has the most photo views on Google Maps”. What’s also interesting is the number that after learning about the Leaderboards, join Connect.

Well done @alifaisaly. You only recently joined Connect and just joined the Leaderboards. You made it on the Photo Views leaderboards and flying your country’s flag on the Country leaderboards. Keep guiding and keep contributing, and we’ll keep seeing your progress on the Leaderboards. You should think about adding some videos on Maps
