Hello, Local Guides!
I hope you all are well. This is Biswajit Chakraborty, one of the core team members of Bangladesh Local Guides (BDLG). I’m very much proud to inform you that, BDLG had been completed the ‘Seven days long Virtual Meetup Series’ in this lockdown period. Which was hosted by @MahabubMunna , and @Arafat_Zakir Islam presented each meetup of this series.
Average of about 30 (max 51) local guides were present in each meetup of these ‘Virtual Series Meetups’. Total of 10 people talked as the speaker. And, more than 10-hour total timing of this series.
At the end of these meetup series, we have taken a fancy initiative. That is, who has regularly participated in these series meetups, we have issued a digital certificate for them.
Hopefully, it will encourage themselves and enrich their engagement on maps and here on connect as well.

প্রথমে অসংখ্য ধন্যবাদ দিতে চাই বাংলাদেশ লোকাল গাইডের কোর টিম কে। যাদের কারনে আজকে এই মিটাপটি সম্ভব হয়েছে , এইরকম একটা সুন্দর সেসন করে প্রত্যেটা জিনিস বুঝিয়ে দেয়ার জন্য মন থেকে ধন্যবাদ দিতে চাই। এটা আমার প্রথম মিটাপ ছিল, এর আগে আমি কোনো মিট আপে অংশগ্রহন করতে পারিনি। আর ভার্চুয়াল মিটআপ এর সুবাধে আমি অংশগ্রহন করতে পারি। এই মিটাপ থেকে অনেক কিছু পেয়েছি, যা আমাকে এক ধাপ এগিয়ে নিয়ে গিয়েছে, এবং সামনের দিনগুলোতে আমি আমার লোকাল গাইডের সর্বোচ্চটুকু দেয়ার চেস্টা করবো, আর বাংলাদেশ লোকাল গাইডের সাথে থেকে আরো নতুন কিছু শেখার চেস্টা করবো, আর চেস্টা করব আমার আশেপাশের যারা নতুন লোকাল গাইড তাদের সবটুকু দিয়ে সাহায্য করার। আর এই সুন্দর সার্টিফিকেটটি দেয়ার জন্য অসংখ্য ধন্যবাদ ।
