I received my Local Guide pin badge today, who says we don’t get any rewards for the work we do? 
I’d like to thank @AdamGT for the exposure I have had on the Top 100 Lists - I’m sure it’s all down to that

I see that the rewards are described as regional. So it may be that they don’t give out these rewards in your region.

I do appreciate your thanks however, while the Top 100 leaderboards give you some exposure, your receipt of this prestigious pin is definitely not down to that. From time to time rewards or perks are offered to a limited number of active Local Guides as a sign of appreciation for their contributions to Google Maps. You receive these gifts because you consistently share high-quality contributions, reach a certain level, or often review a category related to a specific perk or are in a particular region so well done on your contribution to Maps.

These perks are very unpredictable. I’ll say don’t count on getting them at all,it may or may not come. Your best bet is keep contributing quality and have fun. I am on level 9 and don’t even have this pin,nevertheless I am having fun contributing and interacting with local guides here. There is so much in that for perks !

The post post and comment was a bit tongue in cheek , and more about giving the Top 100 hundred lists a bit more exposure in my own limited way…
I have been really grateful for all the responses and help I have received since I started posting on the Local Guides Connected forums and thought it was a nice gesture to give a little back.
