Throught the Local Guides and Google Maps, I can see what the future can be (in other areas, because in Local Guides we are experiencing it day by day). I’ts very satisfing helping others the same way that we like to be helped. Others that we don’t even know, but we can now meet with this piece of future that is sharing everithing.
With this kind of help, I already traveled to more than 10 countries. I love travel and it’s essential for me to look all the places, the comments, ratings and photos posted from others users that I will visit in my trip (and give like when it helps), and after I leave my impressions too.
One time when I went to Argentina and posted a photo from a Museum, I looked to the numbers of people that saw it (more than 500.000), and I feelt very happy that I`m doing the difference.
All this tecnology is so incredible and we can do infinite things with it. But Local Guides shows me how we can use to change our way of living. No more arriving in a place to discover that it don’t open that day or that you arrived just 10 minutes before that it closes. No more having surprises with the prices, how the place looks like, employee behavior and other things that we can see before visiting some new place (thanks for that!).
Sometimes I imagine how the world will be different when all the things works in the same way. People sharing experiences and hints to help someone else and knowing better all in advance what will be experienced in his life with just a touch in a smartphone. This means to me that we always can do better, change our surrounds and Local Guides is a proof of it.
