Please remember to use the tagging-tool by using the @.

I don’t see you are pressing the Done link in your film. Could it be that you are selecting end time before start time?

Thanks for reaching out.

I have checked the location you tried to update. It looks the business is claimed by the owner. The reason you can not edit the working hours is that the business is probably rejecting them as they have the rights to do so.

After asking about timings to the owner of the hotel I tried to change but system wasn’t accepting that. Now who can and how can change the timings?

Hello @SUMEET1 ,

Like what suggested by others, this is a claimed business in Google map and totally managed by owner. If you want to make change in timing, ask owner to do so. As it is a claimed business your edit might not be approved.

I just tested the same and found everything seems fine.

That might be a temporary issue. In future if you found such issue, kindly restart your device your maps/ device, turning off and on internet connection.

The fastest way is the listing owner to set the working hours by themselves.

Just as a reminder, don’t forget when responding to others make sure to tag them (by writing @ before their names) in a post so they can receive notifications that you are communicating with them.

@MashaPS What does listing owner means? I told owner to change the timings but they said they don’t have access to it. Now how to change the timings?

Hi again @SUMEET1 ,

Listing owner means who is managing this business on Google My business. The process is very simple in that case. If you want make it correct on the behalf of owner then ask him/her to claim it via Google My business. You can also ask them to download Google My business application for phone.

If you/owner think that someone else claimed that business falsely then there is easiest way to regain access on it.

Follow the below procedure,

  1. Go to business.google.com/add
  2. Enter the name and address of your business, then select it from the search results.
  3. Click Continue. You’ll see a message indicating that someone else verified the listing. Otherwise, you can claim and verify the listing yourself.
  4. Click Request access and fill out the form.
  5. Click Submit. The current listing owner will receive an email asking them to get in touch with you, and you’ll receive a confirmation email.

As suggested above whenever it is related to a business on Google Maps it is good to reach out to the Google My business.
