Chongqing, China. Founded by the esteemed Zhang Boling in 1936, just before the onset of World War II, this prestigious institution has a rich past that we’re excited to explore.
During the war, Nankai secondary school became a home for students 
and teachers evacuated from Tianjin.
As we wander the beautiful campus, you’ll see the stunning traditional Chinese buildings 
that house the student accommodation and take in the peaceful views of the lake 
, student art exhibitions 
, and state-of-the-art science laboratories

But the legacy of Nankai doesn’t stop at its stunning architecture and picturesque surroundings. Many of the school’s students have become renowned scientists

I loved visiting Nankai Secondary School during my summer holidays. Not only was it a chance to learn about the fascinating school history
